Marcy
Marcy understands clay. She knows how to turn a lump of dirt into a useful item or a beautiful piece of art. What she doesn’t know is how to fix her life which starts to spiral out of control when Ryan, a childhood chum, returns after a long absence. Falling in love with Ryan, who seems to want only a platonic relationship, creates an ever-widening chasm in their friendship. Family pressures and betrayal by her best friend add to her turmoil. The hurt, confusion and rejection she feels lead her to make a terrible decision that causes her to wonder if she’s ruined everything. Can she yield her life to The Potter and trust Him to heal relationships and complete her dreams?

Marcy – This was such a fun read that I thoroughly enjoyed! I was swept into the plot instantly and could not put the book down! The characters are detailed and realistic–at the end I felt like I knew each one of them. The Christian message is clearly portrayed and woven throughout the story in a very solid and convincing way. None of it feels forced or mechanical; neither does it feel “preachy.” In the way of romance, [the author] keeps things interesting yet moral at the same time…something I highly appreciate in a good romance novel.
I always consider a book a worthwhile read if I find myself “living” in their world after I turn the last page. “Marcy” is no exception!
